Mini Comic Reviews!

I think the art was probably better than the story for me, but that being said I really was invested in this story. I liked that Hawkmoon was young and rash; and that he had to deal with the consequences of that. It’s always nice when the main character doesn’t get away with everything (on the reverse; this man gets no peace lol). I will definitely be looking out for the next volume and I want to say a big thanks to Titan Comics for letting me read a proof of this.

So! 4/5 Cups of coffee from me!

I hadn’t read a ‘Lenore’ comic before but I have 0 regrets starting here lol. It’s silly, fun, and clearly there’s stuff connected to the older comics to this one. It reminds me of Foamy the Squirrel and Invader Zim on art style and that level of quirky which I’m super here for. It may look just silly enough for maybe younger audiences but I’d say aim for teens (or have a look through beforehand, you know your kid best). I will definitely be going back to read more of Lenore. I want to say a big thanks to Titan Comics for letting me read a proof of this.

Do you enjoy living in that nice morally gray area where there are basically no heroes and just maybe anti-heroes and more villainous people with powers? I’m going to just put this into your hands. It is fantastic, an alternate history with stunning art and so many questionable moral dilemmas that I had a fantastic time reading. Six people with abilities that could bring the destruction of the world (they are our world’s nuclear/a-bomb powers in form of different people/beings). They are always having to balance and maintain a state of ‘safety’ but it’s not easy and there’s always one small thing that could put them on the path of destruction. 4/5 huge cups of coffee from me, I didn’t love everything but I think that’s what made me enjoy it so much.
