Ugh, February is only a few days shorter than the other months but it feels like it just sped by in two weeks, amiright?
So I’ll put what books I read, include the links to their Goodreads if you’re interested, that way that saves this post from being HUGE. Anything with () Means I don’t have a blog review/it isn’t up yet, but the rest do and you’re welcome to click on my reviews page to go scope them out!
I’ll also talk about my February book haul and my March aspirations, I’m finishing a book tonight so I’ll reserve the review for that until March 1!
What Did I Read This Month:
Boneseeker: Here Walk the Dead
Betty Church and the Suffolk Vampire
The Parlor Girl’s Guide (To Hell, apparently)
Serving the Servant: Remembering Kurt Cobain
(Review to come in mid to late March)
(No Review, thriller comic, good, but not much to it)
(Very whimsical children’s story/Children’s Picture Book, apparently someone else thought this had some Pedophile message…I didn’t really get that, but like they were just friends?? And also they never say that anyone is a kid?? Idk, maybe I’m misreading! It was just a man and his friend who built his house and a musical instrument and had tea together by the fire…..so…maybe I’m missing subtext, idk again. )
(Western Manga, love manga but this one was missing some depth to the characters)
Book of Dust: La Belle Sauvage
(Review to come tomorrow!)
February Book Haul
Favorite Read this Month?
A tie between La Belle Sauvage and Serving the Servant!
Also, The Priory of the Orange Tree showed up as I was belatedly writing this!

Congratulations on 150 followers and 50 blog posts! That’s such a wonderful achievement. What a brilliant month of reading you’ve had, I’m sorry that you couldn’t have enjoyed Stalking Jack The Ripper more, it’s one of my favourite series. Is it something you might continue with? Book two is pretty great as well, I haven’t read book three yet though. You really need to be in the mood for historical I’ve found. I’m reading Priory of The Orange Tree at the moment as well, really looking forward to seeing what you think of it!

I definitely do intend to read the rest of the series, I have faith in the author, she shows promise, hmm the fourth book is coming out soon-ish as well right?

I have seen Bloom around a lot, I think I need to add that one to my TBR pile.
As for your February haul – I have read Thirteen Reasons Why, The Gift of Rain and Steinbecks Short Stories, and can recommend all three. Thirteen REasons Why being my least favorite of the three.

I’m thinking about starting with it, thirteen reasons to see what the hype is about and haha the Steinbeck, I’ve read two stories out of it already but I’m going to let the husband get to it first 😊 hope you enjoy Bloom if you get to it!

Yay for a wonderful, successful month! I’m a bit jealous of your John Steinbeck book; he’s always been one of those ‘classic’ authors that I actually adore (ever since my high school AP English class was assigned The Grapes of Wrath. Most of the rest of the class haaaaaaaaaaaaaated it, and I was like, this is aMAZING! #nerd). Thanks for sharing such great bookish content with us!

Aw thank you! And my husband is a huge Steinbeck fan! I mean I don’t think you even have to like him to admire his talent, I hope to sometime get to East of Eden this year (hubs has been shoving it at me for a year lol)

I honestly don’t believe that February is only 3 days shorter than January… I think it is a conspiracy, the month flew on by! Anyways… you got a good amount of reading done last month, and very nice book haul. PRIORY be thicc.
Thanks so much for the link back to my blog, and I am so glad you were able to get a review copy of ANNA UNDREAMING!!
